Degree in sports nutrition
All admitted students are assigned to the non-thesis track. To apply for the thesis track, students must be in good academic standing and have the support of graduate faculty after the first semester.
Being a registered dietitian does require you to complete 75 continuing education units every 5 years, but you may need to go beyond those units to stay current in the dynamic field of sports nutrition. Many sports dietitians pursue master’s degrees in nutrition, exercise science, or a related field. Or you may choose to complete certifications in personal training, exercise physiology, or related fields.
At a public research university like K-State, you’ll have direct access to research opportunities from the start. K-State undergraduates have studied sustainable energy, cancer cells, musical lyrics and many other topics alongside nationally renowned faculty at K-State’s 90-plus research centers.
Attainment of these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the program. Admission decisions are based on assessments of all aspects of the student’s application materials. The department reserves the right to increase standards if warranted by enrollment limitations and by the number and quality of applicants. Financial aid is a separate process from the admission to a graduate program.
Even sports nutritionists that are not legally obligated to become certified or licensed professionals often earn credentials through a national credentialing agency such as the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to establish professional competency in the field.

I tried the Citrus flavor, which is artificially flavored and sweetened, and I found it to be pretty darn tasty and reminiscent of lemon-flavored soda. That said, because it’s naturally colored with turmeric, there was a very, very mild turmeric flavor in there too.
